Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is fast acting and combines listening and talking psychotherapy (taking elements of SFBT, CBT and NLP) and hypnosis.

​

The therapy is totally confidential and is based on the latest neuroscience and looks at where you are now and where you wish to be as you move forward, without dwelling on, or the need to go into, the past.

​

Our Initial Consultation is a chance to talk about what you want to achieve from hypnotherapy.

 

We also talk through why you feel like you do and what we can do to help, understanding how your brain works and how you can positively embrace change in your feelings and behaviour.

Subsequent sessions include talking therapy and also hypnosis.

SFHT combines talking therapy (including use of CBT and NLP) with hypnosis.

Based entirely on the latest findings in neuroscience.

It is positive, forward looking, relaxing, fascinating and great fun too. 

​

If you are looking for therapy to go over your past this is NOT the therapy for you.

What happens after the initial consultation

What happens after the Initial Consultation?

Following Initial Consultation, for simple phobias we would need 3 more sessions.

 

For everything else we would work on a session by session basis.

​

Normal sessions take around 55  minutes and have two parts.

First we engage in positive talking therapy to support you to move forward, not go over the past. 

And then we use hypnosis to enable you to consolidate what we have been discussing, find solutions and absorb positive suggestion.

Hypnosis as we use it is just a natural state of complete relaxation that you will enjoy.

 

It enables us to get access to the subconscious mind, to make positive decisions and move forward in life.

 

It is collaborative not 'magic' and change is a result of your want to do it and your being prepared to take the necessary steps to facilitate it.

How long will it take? Online or Face to Face , your choice

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy works quickly, between 8 to 12 sessions is normally enough. But we are lead by you. You will know when you are ready to stop and you are living the life you want.

We can work online or face to face dependent on your location and your preference. It is equally successful whichever method we use.

Everything but STOP SMOKING requires us to have an initial consultation. This is a lovely 40 minute session that is where we talk through what you want to achieve, how we can help you and I share a brain explanation to explain why you feel like you do.

 

As solution Focused Hypnotherapists we do NOT refer to the past or go over it.
